Boom Skull (Mission: Warship Gbraakon) 💥

Your first challenge starts right at the beginning! The Boom Skull doubles all explosion radii. It's in the very first mission, Warship Gbraakon. Fight through the ship until you reach an area with a kinetic ammo station outside a blue-lit door. Clear the room inside.

See those elevator-like platforms on the right? Scan the area, and you'll spot the skull's outline above. Just ride the correct platform up to claim your first prize! Easy, right?

Cowbell Skull (Mission: Foundation) 🔔

Next up is the Cowbell Skull, which increases acceleration from explosions. Another missable one, found in the Foundation mission. After meeting The Weapon and riding the memory-filled elevator, you'll pass through a door and see a large window.

Go left, clear the enemies, and look up at the pillars. Use your Grappleshot to reach the top of the first pillar. From there, you'll see the skull on another pillar across a huge gap. A well-timed jump and grapple later, and it's yours!

Blind Skull (Open World - First Island) 🙈

The Blind Skull disables your HUD – perfect for those cinematic screenshots! Head to the location marked on the first island's map.

Climb the mountain and look down into a massive canyon. Descend onto the metallic hexagonal pillars, then look for natural rock. You'll find a dead Marine with a rocket launcher. After an enemy ship flies by, go further down to find another soldier with a battle rifle.

This is the scary part: keep descending the rocky cliff until you start to fall. Immediately Grappleshot to the hexagonal pillars on your LEFT. You'll land on a hidden platform, and the creepy whispering will guide you to the skull. Don't look down! 😅

IWHBYD Skull (Mission: Recovery) 🎤

IWHBYD (I Would Have Been Your Daddy) makes rare dialogue play more often. Love the silly Grunt chatter? This is your skull. It's simple to find! During the Recovery mission, you infiltrate The Tower. The skull is literally sitting right on top of this massive structure. Just grapple or find your way to the summit.

Fog Skull (Open World - West of FOB Alpha) 🌫️

The Fog Skull disables your motion tracker. Navigate to the map location west of FOB Alpha, southeast of the Foundation mission marker on the second island.

Follow the hexagonal cliffside until you spot... a weird doll. Yep.

Go past it, and you'll see a series of pillars and platforms with big gaps. Grapple across them, moving upward. Eventually, you'll hear the whispers and find the skull sitting on a pile of UNSC and Banished helmets. A free S7 Sniper is a nice bonus! 🎯

Catch Skull (Open World - Northern C-Shaped Island) 🎾

The Catch Skull makes enemies throw and drop grenades like crazy. It's on the northern C-shaped island in the second region. Fly or grapple there.

Be warned: you'll have to fight some tough enemies here, including two Hunters. Bring heavy weapons! Once they're scrap metal, look inside a hollow tree trunk to find the skull.

Famine Skull (Open World - Fourth Region) 🍂

The Famine Skull reduces ammo in weapons dropped by enemies. During the campaign mission The Sequence in the fourth region, you need to activate four beacons. The skull is on a small island south of the easternmost beacon.

By now, you can probably call in a Wasp from a FOB. Grab one (or hijack a Phantom) and fly to the island. Land and search among the bodies. You'll find the skull clutched in the hand of a dead yellow Elite. A somber find.

Black Eye Skull (Open World - Waterfall Cave) 👊

The Black Eye Skull makes your shields only recharge by meleeing enemies. This one's sneaky. Head to the location on the map below.

You'll see a small lake leading to a waterfall. And what's behind every good waterfall in gaming? A secret! About halfway up the waterfall, there's a tiny cave entrance. Crouch to enter, and you'll find the skull on a wooden pillar, surrounded by dead Brutes. Spooky. 💀

Thunderstorm Skull (Open World - Tall Pillar) ⛈️

The Thunderstorm Skull upgrades all enemy ranks, making every fight tougher. Grab a Wasp or Banshee and fly to this map point.

You're looking for a single hexagonal pillar that's taller than all the others. Land on top of it, and the skull is just sitting there, waiting to make your life harder. You asked for it!

Mythic Skull (Mission: The Command Spire) 🛡️

Now for the final three, all in campaign missions! The Mythic Skull increases enemy health. It's in The Command Spire. Progress until you take a grav lift into a large room with moving hexagonal pillars passing through burning gates.

Fight through, and you'll reach a section where the pillars turn and go to the right. Climb onto this slanted platform.

Now, grapple onto one of the moving pillars, then immediately grapple up into a dark area above you. You'll see a distinctive blue door.

Go through, head down the hallway, and claim the Mythic Skull.

Grunt Birthday Party Skull (Mission: Repository) 🎂🎉

THE iconic skull! Headshot a Grunt, and they explode into confetti! It's in the Repository mission and is VERY easy to miss.

You'll reach a large area with a central relay. After placing The Weapon, a cutscene plays. Afterward, the red doors to your left and right turn blue. Grapple to the door on your right first. Inside, grab the Power Seed.

Grapple back and go to the left door. Place the Power Seed in the cradle inside. Continue the mission normally until you reach a specific room.

Placing that seed opened the window above. But wait! Four invisible Elite Zealots with Energy Swords are waiting up there. Use your Threat Sensor to reveal them, take them out, and then, finally, enjoy your well-earned confetti cannon! 🥳

Bandana Skull (Mission: The Silent Auditorium) ∞

The grand finale! The Bandana Skull gives you unlimited ammo, grenades, and removes equipment cooldowns. It's in the final mission, The Silent Auditorium. There's a tricky condition: in a room full of Sentinels, you must NOT DESTROY ANY OF THEM. I know, it's tempting to blast everything, but you have to just run, grapple, and avoid them all.

If you succeed, right before the final boss, you'll see an extra light bridge appear.

Cross it, go through the blue door, and there it is – the ultimate Skull, sitting on a tall platform. Unlimited power is yours!
